Our mission
Catholic Community Service advocates and offers social service opportunities for all Southeast Alaskans, emphasizing social justice and compassion. We accomplish this mission by fostering the self-sufficiency and dignity of individuals and families affirming diversity in culture, faith and way of life.
Our Board
The programs provided throughout Southeast Alaska by CCS are made possible by the dedication and hard work exemplified on a daily basis by our staff members, many of whom have been with the organization for a number of years. The work we do is supported by our programmatic and fiscal partnerships with state, local and federal government agencies, and by contributions from individuals and corporations. In each community a combination of local government and grass roots support is combined to provide the local effort necessary to keep the state and federal granting sources viable. CCS recognizes the importance of the many hours of volunteer labor and financial support that makes our regional Senior Services model so successful. In Juneau, we appreciate the on-going support of our many partners who help in so many ways to provide the fundamental community outreach to children and families who are in need of temporary assistance as they seek to achieve stable self sufficient lives.
